Hotel Cipreses Bed and Breakfast is a 10-minute walk from the town area of Santa Elena. This cute bed and breakfast has a tropical courtyard not expected in a residential area. Hotel Cipreses B&B has 10 original rooms and recently opened 18 new modern rooms. The hotel has a full kitchen with staff willing to work with whatever schedule you are on.

The rooms at Los Cipreses are clean and simple and all overlook the gardens, the newer buildings have balconies with views of the surrounding area. Private bathrooms boast "real" hot water showers unlike the electric showerheads found in most places in Costa Rica. There is free Internet and access to WIFI and all rooms have televisions.

The rooms in the older sections have a rustic charm, are colorful and overlook the courtyard full of tropical plants.The rooms are divided as follows:

• two story building that has 4 rooms - these rooms are smaller and have one queen size bed.
• single level building has 6 rooms of which -
  4 have one double bed + 1 single
  2 have 2 double beds + 2 single beds
  2 have 2 double beds
  1 has two separate bedroom with each bedroom having 1 double + 1 single - good for families.
  

The newer section of Los Cipreses has two buildings:

One has 10 rooms with either open balconies or patios, all the rooms have two queen size beds and big bathrooms, ceiling fans and televisions.

The other building has 8 rooms in total with closed-in balconies on the top floor. There are 4 rooms on the top floor: 3 of them with 2 queen beds and there is one room that has 1 queen + 1 single bed. On the bottom floor there are 3 rooms with 2 queen size beds + 1 single and there is one room with 1 queen + 1 single.

      Los Cipreses Bed and Breakfast is a good option for those looking to be in a residential area but just a short walk into town.
