Resort Hotel El Establo Monteverde Costa Rica is set in 150 acres of a private farm (of which 50% is protected forest) and one of the larger and more luxurious resorts in the Monteverde area. Hotel El Establo is located in a perfect position in Cerro Plano, between Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the village of Santa Elena. Within walking distance are a number of restaurants, night hikes, the Butterfly Garden and various other attractions. Hotel El Establo has two restaurants, a bar and one of the only hotels in Monteverde with a pool and a Jacuzzi, trails and its own canopy tour - Hotel El Establo has it all!

Hotel  El Establo has three categories of rooms: Deluxe, Suites (3 types) and Honeymoon Suites

Deluxe Rooms at Hotel El Establo. These are 50 square meter rooms with balconies or terraces with great views of the Gulf of Nicoya and have:

* Two queen size bed with orthopedic mattresses
* Private bathrooms with hot water (separate bath tub and shower)
* Wall to wall carpeting
* Telephone and alarm clock
* Coffee maker and mini-bar
* Cable T.V.
* Hair dryer
* Security box

Suites at Hotel El Establo. There are three types of suites:

1. Family Suites - these have a mezzane, 2 king size beds and the possibility of adding an extra single bed if required
2. Couple Suites - these have one king size bed
3. Double Suites - with two queen size beds and the best location on the property.

All suites have:

* Wall to wall carpeting

* One king size bed and one queen size bed with orthopedic mattresses

Honeymoon Suites with Jacuzzi at Hotel El Establo, 50 square meter rooms:

* Honey room rate includes a bottle of wine and a fresh flower arrangement
* Wall to wall carpeting
* Large glass bathrooms with hot water
(separate jacuzzi bath, shower and separate toliet area) - note you can opt for a room without a jaccuzi as it is visible from the bed and have a jacuzzi in the spa.

Body Wraps (chocolate, grapes, coffee, Cleopatra, seaweed) $100 - $110

Exfoliations (orange, coconut, seaweed, cream essential) $90

Baths (Cleopatra, Remineralizing, Mermaid) $60 - $70

Facials (facial, mini-facial, deep balancing, for men, after sun, princesa, reina) $70 - $100

Other Services (manicure SPA, Pedicure SPA, manicure French, pedicure French, blow & dry) $35 - $60

 

Restaurants at Hotel El Establo

Laggus Restaurnant - Elegant restautant for a high quality option. Located in the center of the hotel grounds with breathtaking views of the properties' lake, grounds, surrounding forest and the Gulf of Nicoya. Prices range from $8- $40 plus 23% tax.

Cafe/Bar - Casual area for cocktails and wines as well as special selection of cheese, appetizers and coffees

Las Riendas Restaurant - International menu, buffet or a-la carte alternatives. Meals $6 - $30 plus 23% tax
