Hotel Heliconia Monteverde Costa Rica is a well- established 55- room hotel with a good restaurant & comfortable rooms, near many of Monteverde tours & attractions.  The hotel has a rustic charm reminiscent of a typical mountain lodge, constructed wholly of beautiful local wood.

Hotel Heliconia has an ideal location being a few minutes walk from some of the area’s attractions such as the Ecological Sanctuary, the Monteverde Butterfly Gardens and a 10 minute drive to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The hotel is near several restaurants and bars and a 15-minute walk to the town of Santa Elena. The Italian restaurant and bar in the hotel is a popular choice, especially the pizzas made on the wood-burning oven. They also make a tempting breakfast buffet.

Hotel Rooms

The hotel consists of a main lodge and several cabins/bungalows which are located at the back of the hotel, spread across the mountainside. The hotel has standard rooms and several different types of suites.

STANDARD ROOMS		Standard rooms are located near the restaurant and Jacuzzi and have two double beds (alternate bed arrangements can be made), bathroom with bathtub as well as a shower, telephone and safe.
JUNIOR SUITE		The junior suites are very spacious and each one has two king-sized beds, bathroom with luxurious tub and shower, a safe, telephone and balcony .
JUNIOR SUITE SUNSET		These suites are also very spacious and have two king-sized beds and additional space to add two more single beds for families if required. These rooms have spectacular views from their balconies.
MASTER SUITES		These are huge rooms with 2 king-sized beds plus a mezzanine with a further double bed (or 2 single beds if required). The master suites has all the amenities of the standard rooms plus a balcony, terrace and a living room that overlooks the Gulf of Nicoya The master suites can be linked via a balcony and are perfect for family groups of 12-15 people.
FAMILY SUITES		These have a king size bed on the ground floor and two singles on the mezzanine floor. The family suites have all the amenities of the standard rooms plus a 4-person hot tub and separate bathroom, balcony and private parking. The family suites are apart from other cabins offering privacy and beautiful view
