Hotel Poco a Poco Monteverde Costa Rica …… is a relatively new hotel located 5 minute’s walk from Santa Elena and a 10 minute drive to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The hotel name 'poco a poco’ means ‘little by little'. The hotel was just 5 rooms in 2000 and now has expanded to 32 rooms, with a new pool and jacuzzi and other facilities which were added as you might guess … little by little.

The hotel gardens have many native flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds as well as benches and stone art. The views at the back of the hotel and from the balconies are beautiful.

Hotel Poco a Poco has a decent sized restaurant with an international  menu and a well-stocked bar. There is also wireless internet and laptops available at the hotel reception.

Hotel Poco a Poco has 32 rooms (a mixture of singles, double, triples and quadruples) either on the ground floor or higher up with balconies.

All rooms have a good size bathroom, one or two with jacuzzis. Rooms are equipped with hairdryers, coffee makers, safes and orthopaedic beds. They also with phones and cable TV plus a DVD player and you can rent movies at the Hotelps own DVD library.

The Hotel Poco a Poco is a popular place to stay despite the fact that the nearby construction of a small shopping mall creates some noise (but this is only during the day before 5.00pm and can't really be heard from many parts of the hotel).
