The Sunkiss Hotel, now known as the Hotel Sunset 'New Building' since the hotels joined forces (and have the same owners) is located 1.5 kilometers from the
main town area of Santa Elena, and sits upon a hill and faces the
beautiful Gulf of Nicoya. Sunset views are fantastic with colors
that rival the hotel's own vibrant colors!
The Hotel Sunset New Building has double rooms which are spacious and well-appointed with private bathrooms and bay windows with
western views and one junior suite with king size bed,
upholstered furniture, dining table, and large private bathroom.

The hotel's hilltop location makes for peaceful nights and great
views, but travelers should consider having a rental car or taking
taxis, as the road is steep, although a short cut by foot takes about 20 minutes walk into town.
There are short private hiking trails with cloud forest trees and local fauna and flora that guests can enjoy.
