The Sunset Hotel, with its hilltop location, was built in a way to give each cabin a western view of the Gulf of Nicoya. You can enjoy this view from your room and porch or from the circular restaurant's picture windows.

The rooms are simply appointed with tile floors, wooden furniture and queen size beds. Each room also has two deck chairs and a small table located on the common porch.

This hotel offers simple accommodations for those travelers who want to be outside the busier town area of Santa Elena. The hotel's hilltop location makes for peaceful nights and great views, but travelers should consider having a rental car or taking taxis, as the road is steep.
