     If you want to see some of the world's most interesting and beautiful bats, flying free in the dark recesses of the "bat jungle", be sure to visit our new, modern exhibit at the paseo de stella, located in famous Monteverde, Costa Rica.  Our professional guides will show you not only flying bats out searching for a meal and socializing, but you will also hear the real ultrasonic sounds made by the bats themselves, as well as enjoy spectacular exhibits illustrating the fascinating world of bats!

Opening times 9.30am to 8.30pm

The tour lasts just under an hour. The price is $8 for Adults, $6 for students, no charge for children under age six. 

For an extra charge Dr Richard Laval will give a special technical lecture for biologists and teachers.

After the tour guests can watch interesting Bat DVDs at the theatre next door (free with entrance ticket to the Bat Museum)
