There are two major shuttle transfer operators in Costa Rica; Fantasy Bus and Interbus.  Daily, collective routes are operated between most major tourist destinations in Costa Rica.  Service is door to door for most hotels (some exceptions for outlying hotels).  This is an easy way to get around with out renting a car or relying on public transportation.  Reservations must be made beforehand and pre-paid.
